Otiflex C 25ml (Otological product for otitis treatment)

Otiflex C, an otological product with antibacterial, antimycotic, acaricidal and anti-inflammatory action for topical use. Formulated for the treatment of initial and/or recurring ear conditions. Its composition includes Ciprofloxacin, a non-ototoxic broad-spectrum antibiotic; Ketoconazole, a highly effective antimycotic against yeasts and dermatophytes, and Prednisolone, an anti-inflammatory steroid with immediate action. Excipients include triethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA-tris) and sesame oil. EDTA-tris, thanks to its chelating and buffering power, enhances the action of Ciprofloxacin, destabilizing bacteria membranes and the Biofilms they form. Sesame oil is a natural acaricide, with antioxidant and emollient properties that help to restore the epithelium of the ear canal.
